Bald Hill Nature Walk with Neighborhood Naturalist, Saturday, July 24th, 9 am

Join Greenbelt Land Trust and Neighborhood Naturalist for an all-ages nature walk at Bald Hill on Saturday, July 24th, from 9 am to 12 noon.

Don Boucher from the Neighborhood Naturalist will lead a slow-paced walk with frequent stops, to look at plants, bugs, birds and whatever else we find. Don will also talk about the different habitats and ecology of the area. Bring binoculars if you have them.

Route is 2 miles and covers parts of Greenbelt’s Bald Hill Farm and the City of Corvallis’s Bald Hill Natural Area.

The group will meet at the Oak Creek Trailhead parking area: 6455 NW Oak Creek Drive.

Note: the parking area fills up on weekends. Consider carpooling with a friend, riding your bike, or parking at the fairgrounds lot near the Midge Cramer trailhead or the Bald Hill Trailhead on Reservoir Ave. Allow time to walk or bicycle to the meeting area.
