While food is certainly a very important part of nutrition, there is so much more. Join Greenbelt, Enrich Health Consulting, Slow Food Corvallis, and local wildlife scientists for a unique talk and walk morning at Bald Hill Farm.
Local Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Stasi Kasianchuk will explore the impact of where we get our food, how it’s prepared, even how and who we eat with has on our health. She’ll share resources and easy to implement strategies to use them.
We’ll then head out for a walk around Bald Hill Farm with local biologists Molly Monroe and Nate Richardson, who will help us identify what exists in our winter eco-system.
We’ll wrap up back in the farmhouse with more insight about local food and connections with culture and community from Marilyn Henderson, President of Slow Food Corvallis while we warm up with some locally sourced seasonal dishes. We’ll provide easy recipes for you to take home!
Space is limited to 20 for this free event.
