Please join Greenbelt for our summer book club gathering. The first reading at the March kick-off gathering was fantastic. Let’s continue the learning and fun! We are now reading Rain: A Natural and Cultural History by Cynthia Barnett.
The June gathering will be an evening picnic at Bald Hill Farm (weather permitting; rain location will be announced). To RSVP or for more information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Book Club Synopsis:
The new GLT Conservation Book Club is an inclusive and informal group that will meet quarterly to discuss a range of local to worldwide conservation issues. Our goal is to expand our learning based on our readings and each other through thoughts, personal experiences, and good conversations. Participation is free and open to all. Books will be chosen by group consensus, and each quarterly gathering will take place voluntarily at a host’s home. Come join us!
You can buy books anywhere, but Grass Roots provides a 15% club discount upon mention of the Greenbelt Conservation Book Club. If you purchase through Amazon, please consider supporting Greenbelt at the same time through AmazonSmile!
