What did wetland prairies look like over 200 years ago? What important natural roles do they play in our environment?
Find out by being a part of a historic effort to restore native prairie habitat in the Bald Hill Farm Conservation Area! Join fellow volunteers as we prep the restoration site for planting native flowers and grasses. Hands-on projects include removing woody material to make way for seeding the site. You’ll get a new perspective on Bald Hill Farm by working in an area not usually accessed by the public.
Difficulty level: easy to moderate. Volunteers will be repeatedly bending to pick up sticks and logs. Minors 18 and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
