Trail Work Day

May 14, 2016 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Are you ready to get a workout? Then join Greenbelt for a day of enhancing our local trails!

Volunteers are needed for projects including regraveling and erosion control on trails from Fitton Green to Bald Hill Farm.

Difficulty level: challenging. Volunteers will be moving heavy loads of gravel with a mechanized toter and repairing trails with hand tools on rough and steep terrain. Folks will be hiking several miles over the course of the day. This is sure to give you a great workout! Please be aware that poison oak is present on this site. Robust physical condition is required to safely enjoy this activity, which is recommended for ages 16+ (minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian).

This day is part of a spring-summer series of Greenbelt Trail Work Days. Many hands make light (and fun!) work.

To sign up, fill out the short form below. Any questions? Please email Rebecca.
