      Calling all Greenbelt members! You are invited to this special members-only walk with us as we explore beautiful Owens Farm, a mixture of oak, riparian and prairie habitats. We’ll touch on uses of the farm over time and Greenbelt’s restoration efforts and vision for the landscape. This property is rich with cultural history and accessible by guided tours only. This will be a slow, easy walk with opportunity to share your knowledge and mingle with other members. Bring a picnic and we’ll take a pause to enjoy dinner on the land. PARK(ing) Day

Come on down to SW 2nd Street and Adams on Friday, September 20th between 10am and 3pm for Outdoor Rx with The Confluence partners. PARK(ing) Day offers opportunities for conversation, games, picnicking together, creating art, and relaxing and encourages people to re-envision how we use our public spaces. Art on the Farm

Join us for a near-equinox afternoon of art at Bald Hill Farm In the Autumn-esque midday light—paint, photograph, craft, or draw pastoral scenes of rolling hills, oak groves, barns, cows, and critters. Be inspired by the muse that is Bald Hill Farm. Pick your medium and bring your lunch! No experience necessary! Bring your own materials for this no-instruction event where we'll make art simply for our own delight. Members Happy Hour: Bald Hill Farm

  Calling all Greenbelt members! Join us at the Farmhouse at Bald Hill Farm for a happy hour and pot-luck picnic October 3rd from 4-7pm. We’ll provide the beer from Sky High Brewing and you can test out our new horseshoe pits. Feel free to bring a dish to share and a blanket or game for the lawn! The Great Willamette River Clean Up

Join Greenbelt Land Trust and Marys River Watershed Council to help clean up important habitat, terrestrial and water recreation area (Marys River confluence in downtown Corvallis). Please bring your own water bottle and wear appropriate clothing including closed-toed shoes. Gloves, litter grabbers, tools, etc. will be provided. Poetry is in Stafford's DNA as his father, William Stafford, served as Oregon's Poet Laureate from 1974 to 1989. Restoration Tour at Horseshoe Lake

Please join us for this special walk at Horseshoe Lake — which is not open to the public — led by Greenbelt Stewardship Director, Matt Blakeley-Smith. This walk will explore the beauty of the land as well as our conservation work, restoring habitat for wildlife, native fish and chinook salmon. Recently, Greenbelt engaged in earthmoving work at Horseshoe Lake - an oxbow of the Willamette River — to remove two farm roads that were preventing the flow of water limiting refuge for juvenile salmon from river flooding.
