We are building a pavilion at Bald Hill Farm and you can help!
This beautful timber framed pavilion will be built as a “Community Build” project with the Timber Framers Guild.
From September 6th – 14th, 40+ volunteers from around the country and beyond will come together to teach and learn timber framing techniques during the build. Greenbelt will be hosting and housing the builders, and there are multiple ways that you can help. The Guild generously supplies the technical expertise and people power to raise the pavilion, and everything else will be done with the help of our community!
You can apply to be a member of the build crew HERE – various skill levels will be accepted, and a complimentary membership to the Guild is included. Application deadline is July 14th.
You can also volunteer with many different tasks outside of the construction during the week as we host workshops, classes, and events, and serve three meals a day to the build crew. Get in touch with Matt Benotsch HERE if you’d like to help out.
To make a donation to help us build the pavilion and bathrooms, please visit our Donate page. Within the ‘comments’ box, please mention that you wish for your gift to go towards the pavilion.
Do you have a business that would like to be an in-kind sponsor of the build week needs of food and rental housing?
Do you have a construction business interested in providing materials, or helping out with the foundation, electrical, plumbing, or roofing work? We would love to talk to you!
Please drop us a line if your business would like to get involved HERE.
