Talkin’ Turkey Bird Walk with Neighborhood Naturalist, Saturday 11/20, 10 am

November 20 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

Join Greenbelt and Don Boucher from Neighborhood Naturalist for a birding expedition through the west side of Bald Hill Farm in areas not open to public access. We’ll be looking and listening for, and talking about birds of all feathers, with a special focus on turkeys.

Are they native? Why are there so many? Are they detrimental to habitat conservation goals?  Stuffing in the bird or no?

Learn a little about the wild relatives of next week’s dinner as we enjoy a beautiful late fall morning at Bald Hill Farm!

As of October 1st, we are requiring proof of Covid-19 vaccination for all attendees at public events.

Thank you for your interest in this walk. The registration is currently full. If you would like to be added to the wait list, please email mbenotsch@greenbeltlandtrust.org. We hope to see you at a future Greenbelt walk!
