SUMMARY:SOIL! Walk with James Cassidy at Evergreen
DESCRIPTION:Take a walk with soil expert James Cassidy of Oregon State University and have your mind expanded by the incredible world of soil! The basis of human civilization\, the reason you live where you live\, the origin of every single atom in your body is SOIL! \nWe will tour Evergreen\, a 221 acre property outside of Philomath which features vernal pools and abundant wildflowers in restored wetland prairie. We will walk at a relaxed pace for up to 1 mile on uneven\, soggy\, and sometimes wet and muddy ground. You will want to wear footwear that you don’t mind getting wet. Wildflowers should be near peak bloom\, and we will see birds and wildlife. \nRegister below and we will send you detailed meeting information the week before the event. \n
