Trail Cleanup Party at Bald Hill Farm
Trail Work Party at Bald Hill – Saturday, May 24th, 9 am–1 pm
Join Greenbelt staff and fellow volunteers for a spring trail work party at Bald Hill Farm! With summer around the corner and the annual Run for the Hills race coming up on June 1st, we’re getting the trails into great shape for our race runners and other trail users.
This work party will focus on hiking the race course and trimming back brush that’s starting to encroach on the trail. We’ll split into small groups to cover more ground, then come back together at the Bald Hill Farm Farmhouse to enjoy snacks and drinks. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch if you’d like to stay and relax afterward!
No experience needed and volunteers of all ages are welcome! Tools and gloves will be provided. If you can only attend part of the time, that’s totally fine—just email jean@greenbeltlandtrust.org to coordinate.
