In partnership with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW), Greenbelt Land Trust is implementing a managed turkey hunting pilot program on portions of Bald Hill Farm that are not open to public access. Hunting will be in specific, limited zones of Bald Hill Farm and access will only be through ODFW’s Hunt by Reservation program.
This pilot program began in November, 2022, with one or two hunts per week for the fall turkey season. The second phase of the pilot program will begin on April 15th, 2023 for the spring turkey season, with one or two hunts per week. We will be assessing the results of the program continually.
