Mighty Acorns - come explore outdoors with us!
We hope you can join us for another fun morning of exploration and adventure! This time we will learn all about the many pollinators that are buzzing and flying in the flowers at Bald Hill Farm. After a brief story and introduction to bees and other pollinators at the farmhouse, we will head outdoors and learn how to net an insect or two in our beautiful restored prairie and along Mulkey Creek. Afterwards, we will head back for some arts and crafts (and some cold drinks) and create a pollinator of our own.
What and Where? Explore pollinators at Bald Hill Farm. Bathrooms available at the farmhouse and educational pavilion.
When? Sunday, July 19, 2026, 10 am - 12 noon

What to wear/bring? Dress for the weather! We will be in short and tall grasses and flowers in the prairie, so long lightweight clothing and closed-toed shoes is the way to go! Please wear sunblock and consider a hat to protect you from the sun! Also bring your curiosity!
Space is limited for this walk, so you need to register in advance. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
