Calling all Greenbelt members! You are invited to this special members-only event as we walk the Allen Throop Loop at the top of Fitton Green Natural Area during twilight. Bring your cameras or simply enjoy unparalleled views of both the Coast Range and the Cascade Mountains during winter golden and blue hours.
Fitton Green Natural Area is an important community property with trails open to the public year-round. A popular trail for its easily accessible higher elevation, we’ll touch deeper on its history, talk about the first acquisition by Greenbelt founders, Charles and Elsie Fitton Ross, and the community’s role in its protection.
This will be a slow, easy walk with opportunity to share your knowledge and mingle with other members. Expect winter weather and beautiful panoramas.
