Join us at Bald Hill Farm for a presentation followed by a field demonstration from two Oregon State University graduate students whose research is focusing on the health of the Oregon White Oak – a keystone species in our Willamette Valley.
Kellee Boyer studies root disease in Oregon white oak ecosystems and is seeking to determine whether pre-existing root disease in these oaks increases susceptibility to Mediterranean oak borer infestation.
Allison Monroe focuses on Oregon White Oak insect communities and potential parasitoids of the invasive Mediterranean Oak Borer.
Their research includes study sites at Bald Hill Farm. Pre-registration is required – please sign up below!
