Oak Research Showcase at Bald Hill FarmJoin us at Bald Hill Farm for a presentation followed by a field demonstration from two Oregon State University graduate students whose research is focusing on the health of the Oregon White Oak – a keystone species in our Willamette Valley.

Kellee Boyer studies root disease in Oregon white oak ecosystems and is seeking to determine whether pre-existing root disease in these oaks increases susceptibility to Mediterranean oak borer infestation.

Allison Monroe focuses on Oregon White Oak insect communities and potential parasitoids of the invasive Mediterranean Oak Borer.

Their research includes study sites at Bald Hill Farm.  Pre-registration is required – please sign up below!

I assume all risks associated with my activities and the activities of others, associated with the outing.


I authorize Greenbelt Land Trust to use photographic images and video taken during the event for promotional purposes without any further consent or approval. I understand that my name and contact information are not shared nor sold outside of Greenbelt Land Trust. Any contact information I share with Greenbelt Land Trust is kept private and confidential.


By signing I acknowledge that I have read the foregoing Liability Release Waiver and understand its contents; that I am at least eighteen (18) years old and fully competent to give my consent; That I have been sufficiently informed of the risks involved and give my voluntary consent in signing it as my own free act and deed; that I give my voluntary consent in signing this Liability Release Waiver as my own free act and deed with full intention to be bound by the same, and free from any inducement or representation.
