It’s a pop-up! Join us on Thursday, April 24th, from 12-2 pm at Bald Hill Farm for an inside look at the work we are doing with the US Fish and Wildlife Service and Institute for Applied Ecology to re-introduce Taylor’s Checkerspot Butterflies and provide the prairie plants they need in restoration areas. We will talk to project staff, see how the re-introduction work is done, and hopefully see some butterflies. Binoculars available to borrow or bring your own.
We will walk for up to 1.5 miles on gravel roads with some moderate and short elevation gain, and over uneven prairie ground. Bathrooms available at the beginning and end of the walk. Please dress for the weather and leave your pets at home.
