Join us for a tour of Horseshoe Lake, a 236 acre conservation easement property along the Willamette River located between Albany and Corvallis. This property is accessible only during tours such as these so don’t miss your chance to see this beautiful spot!

Part of our tour will be led by Aleena Habib from the Pacific Northwest Bioacoustics lab who will share a bit about her work and lead us in a soundmapping activity as the sun goes down and the sounds of nature change along our route.  It is a soothing and fun activity that really allows time to notice and appreciate the sounds around us!

We will also see first hand the restoration work that has taken place at this property as we walk past prairie and floodplain forest.  Our walk will be an easy paced 2 hour ramble over flat ground for up to 1.5 miles.  Pre-registration is required and space is limited so sign up today.
