Join Greenbelt staff and fellow volunteers to remove un-needed fence at Bald Hill Farm on Saturday, February 25th, from 10 am to 2 pm.
Tools and gloves provided. We will be clearing vegetation, removing barbed and smooth wire fence, and pulling fence posts. If you are only able to attend for part of the time, you’re still welcome to join us, just send an email to jean@greenbeltlandtrust.org to discuss.
Wear: Long pants and closed-toe footwear required. Plan to dress for the weather, layers and rain gear are recommended!
Bring: Lunch, a water bottle, and any emergency medications you usually bring on outdoor excursions for personal use (like Epi-Pens). Some snacks will be provided.
Accessibility notes: No previous experience is necessary. Restrooms will be available and are located a short hike from the work site.
Location: We will be working at Bald Hill Farm. Directions to the meeting location will be provided the week before the event.
