Join Greenbelt and City of Corvallis staff and fellow volunteers to spruce up the trails at Bald Hill on Thursday, October 12th, from 10 am-2 pm.
Tools and gloves provided. We will be performing basic trail maintenance, spreading gravel, and trimming vegetation. We will be working from 10am-2pm. If you are only able to attend for part of the time, you’re still welcome to join us, just send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss.
Wear: Long pants and closed-toe footwear required. Plan to dress for the weather, layers and rain gear are recommended!
Bring: Lunch, a water bottle, and any emergency medications you usually bring on outdoor excursions for personal use (like Epi-Pens). Some snacks will be provided.
Accessibility notes: Restrooms are available a short walk from the project area. Participants may walk for up to 2 miles, shovel and rake gravel, cut small branches and brush, and perform other tasks with hand tools. No previous experience is necessary.
Location: We will be working at Bald Hill where Greenbelt Land Trust and the City of Corvallis’s trails meet. Exact directions to the meeting location will be provided the week before the event.
