Join Greenbelt and the Marys Peak Group of the Oregon Sierra Club as we hike round-trip from Bald Hill Farm to Fitton Green. Explore endangered oak habitat and enjoy panoramic Coast Range vistas while learning why connecting open space is important for wildlife, plants, and recreation. As we walk through newly-restored oak habitat on Mulkey Ridge, Greenbelt staff will talk about the 2-year Woodlands Stewardship Project to enhance remnant oak habitat in the Willamette Valley. You do not have to be a Sierra Club member- all are welcome at this free event!
