Mighty Acorns – come explore outdoors with us!
We hope you can join us for a morning of exploration and adventure! This time we will learn about the amazing Oregon White Oak through hands-on activities and exploration of our oak woodlands at Bald Hill Farm.
We’ll start with a story and introduction to oaks followed by a walk and hands- on activities as we explore on and off trail in our oak woodland and savanna at Bald Hill Farm. Then we will return to the farmhouse or pavilion to create a a lovely collage using oak leaves and other materials.
What and Where? Learn all about the Oregon White Oak at Bald Hill Farm in Corvallis. Bathrooms are available at the beginning and end of the event.
When? Saturday, September 19, 2026, 10 am – 12 noon

What to wear/bring? Dress for the weather! We will be walking on a gravel trail and out in grass and vegetation under oak trees, so long lightweight clothing and closed-toed shoes is the way to go. Please bring a water bottle and snacks if you want. Also bring your curiosity!
Space is limited for this walk, so you need to register in advance. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
