Join Greenbelt Land Trust and the Calapooia Watershed Council for the first guided nature walk at Courtney Creek, a 200-acre conservation area protected in 2017 just south of Brownsville near the headwaters of Courtney Creek in the upper Calapooia Watershed. We’ll explore a unique wet forest and prairie landscape offering excellent birding opportunities and breath-taking views of its sea of purple camas in bloom. This special property also protects one of the largest remaining Willamette Valley populations of the endangered plant, Bradshaw’s lomatium.
*This private conservation is only accessible by Greenbelt-led tours, so don’t miss this opportunity to explore it at peak bloom!
