Wednesday Walk – Oaks at Owens Farm

Come out to join Greenbelt Land Trust’s Education Coordinator, Kendra Callahan, at Owens Farm for a leisurely walk under the oaks and out in the fields of this lovely property.  We will move at a slow pace and take time to stop, look, and listen and soak up the beauty of our surroundings.  Our focus will be on the many amazing adaptations of the Oregon White Oak, why it is important in our Willamette Valley, and why it is considered a keystone species in this region.

The walk will be less than two miles but we will go off trail and walk across fields and uneven ground.

All ages are welcome! Please sign up in advance and leave your dog at home.
